Already Credentialed by Another Board?
Holders of a current credential from NBDHMT, IMCA or another recognized board can apply for the equivalent IBHBOT credential.
What Happens After You Apply
- Submit the application and feeUpload your certificate of completion, a government-issued photo ID, and your license if you hold one.
- Eligibility reviewThe executive director reviews your documents. Review is usually completed within 10 business days.
- Approval or denialIf approved, you receive access to the board exam by email. If denied, you are told why and your fee is refunded in full.
- Take the board examThe exam is online and timed. You take it on your own schedule within your authorization window.
- Result and registryPassing candidates are issued the credential and listed on the public registry.
