Training Sites and Instructors

There is one IBHBOT course for each credential. It is taught only at approved training sites, by instructors IBHBOT has trained, using IBHBOT’s own course materials.

How a Site Is Approved to Teach

  1. The facility qualifies as a training siteThe site applies and an IBHBOT site evaluator inspects the facility, its space and its equipment. The evaluator gathers the facts; an approval committee makes the decision. The evaluator does not vote.
  2. The site has a qualified instructorEach instructor applies separately and must meet IBHBOT’s instructor requirements for the course they will teach.
  3. The instructor is trained to teach the IBHBOT courseInstructor candidates complete IBHBOT’s instructor course and teach under evaluation before they are recognized.
  4. The site teaches the IBHBOT course as writtenRecognized instructors teach directly from the IBHBOT PowerPoints and materials in the Instructor Vault. Sites do not substitute their own curriculum.
